Dead Strike – An old-school zombie game, but still quite intense.

Dead Strike is the kind of game where you jump straight into the fight, with no lengthy introductions. The setting is familiar: a city plagued by an epidemic, few survivors, and zombies everywhere.

The game doesn't try to innovate too much, but it maintains the classic zombie-shooting style, numerous, fast-paced, and quite stressful.

Game Content

You control a group of four survivors, tasked with traversing the city to deliver a virus sample to the hospital. It sounds simple, but the journey is anything but easy.

Zombies appear constantly, and not all of them are slow. Some move quickly, others are more resilient, so being careless will get you cornered.

Gameplay Instructions

First-person shooter gameplay:

  • Move around the map
  • Encounter zombies → shoot or dodge
  • Complete objectives to advance to the next level

Notably, the game allows for two play styles:

  • Shoot straight ahead, clearing the path
  • Or move slowly, avoiding making noise

Shooting a lot isn't always the best option, as zombies can react to sound.

Key Features

  • Quite a few levels (over 40 levels)
  • 4 characters with different abilities
  • Diverse weapons: guns, chainsaws, flamethrowers…

Additionally, there are bosses in some levels, forcing you to move around a lot instead of just standing and shooting.

Gameplay Feeling

This game isn't a chill game.

Some situations you might encounter:

  • Being surrounded by zombies from multiple sides
  • Running out of ammo in a large group
  • Or being cornered

These moments are quite intense, especially when playing for a while and not yet familiar with the map.

Tips (for real gameplay)

  • Don't go too fast in tight spaces
  • Listen for sounds before you see zombies
  • Maintaining distance is key
  • When crowded → run first, shoot later

In short

Dead Strike isn't a new or particularly outstanding game, but it's still good if you like:

  • Classic zombie shooting
  • Fast-paced gameplay
  • Short levels

The game isn't too deep, but it's enough for entertainment while still feeling challenging.
