Dead Strike is the kind of game where you jump straight into the fight, with no lengthy introductions. The setting is familiar: a city plagued by an epidemic, few survivors, and zombies everywhere.
The game doesn't try to innovate too much, but it maintains the classic zombie-shooting style, numerous, fast-paced, and quite stressful.
You control a group of four survivors, tasked with traversing the city to deliver a virus sample to the hospital. It sounds simple, but the journey is anything but easy.
Zombies appear constantly, and not all of them are slow. Some move quickly, others are more resilient, so being careless will get you cornered.
First-person shooter gameplay:
Notably, the game allows for two play styles:
Shooting a lot isn't always the best option, as zombies can react to sound.
Additionally, there are bosses in some levels, forcing you to move around a lot instead of just standing and shooting.
This game isn't a chill game.
Some situations you might encounter:
These moments are quite intense, especially when playing for a while and not yet familiar with the map.
Dead Strike isn't a new or particularly outstanding game, but it's still good if you like:
The game isn't too deep, but it's enough for entertainment while still feeling challenging.
